2014 Naughty in N’awlins Event Schedule:

Making Sense of the Schedule

The schedule at Naughty in N’awlins can be daunting. There are so many Parties, Poker Runs, Seminars and Themed Balls, it can be a little overwhelming. Let us break this up into a few quick and easy segments to make this a little easier for you. There are several different section to the events, but they repeat themselves daily, so once you get the hang of it, it is actually quite easy.

Most days are broken down into 4 main segments, with two classes taking place in each category:

Seminars:

These all take place in the mornings and all are held at the main hotel (Astor Crown Plaza). We have four main tracks: Educational, BDS&M, Interactive and Business. Here are the descriptions of each:

Bourbon St. Parties:

We will have at least eight different private parties on (or just off) Bourbon St. throughout the week. All of these parties are closed to the general public and you MUST have a Naughty in N’awlins laminated pass in order to get in. Hint: Dress casually (T-Shirts, shorts, hats, sandals, tennis shoes or flip flops). They break down into three main categories:

Hotel Parties :

These parties take place at the main hotel (Astor Crown Plaza) on Canal & Bourbon St. There are one to two ballrooms (depending on the night) and some great balconies where you can earn beads as well as reward people on the street that are flashing. Hint: We have to close the balcony from time to time to disperse traffic on the streets, but we will open up the balconies very quickly. Here are the types of parties at the hotel:

After Parties:

These parties are wild and a lot of fun, you’ll have to come and see for yourself

Wed Afternoon Bar Crawl: Casual  Dress
Today is a wine and cocktail tour through the quarter. We will party hard the rest of the week, bit today, we will not only enjoy some great wine and  traditional cocktails but there will be opportunities to learn a little about the history of cocktails and the important role New Orleans played in the development of cocktails.

9:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Bourbon St. Parade
700 Block of Bourbon St.
New Orleans swinger lifestyle paradeOur friends with the NOPD will block off Bourbon St. for our annual parade. We will have a live band, some Mardi Gras floats and plenty of beads to both throw and catch. Wear something comfortable for walking the 8 blocks to Colette.
Sponsored by SwingLifestyle.com

Every year our Wednesday Night parade ends at Colette. This year we've made some changes. First of all, the parade will end at our hotel, not Colette. There will still be a free NIN party at Colette Wednesday Night, but there will also be a party at the hotel, featuring the Treme Brass Band and the Dominatrix of Ditties. Finally, at 11 pm, there will be a preview tour of the party floor at the hotel.

Wow, there is a lot going on Wednesday Night! But that is a good thing, with so many more people this year than last year, it would be insanely overcrowded at Colette if we all marched there. This way, not only can you check out Colette on Wednesday night, but you can also skip Wednesday and go on Thursday instead. Your choice.

If you go on Wed night, you will need your laminated passes and they will punch your card to show that you came. If you don't go on Wednesday, you can get in on Thursday night, with your un-punched laminated passes. By splitting up the crowd between two nights, you will get a much better experience at the club; one of the best in the country.

By stopping the parade at the hotel, if you choose to go to Colette on Wednesday night,, it gives you a chance to go upstairs, change shoes and grab something to drink before heading over. In the past, we had to shuttle high heel shoes and bottles of liquor over; it was always chaotic trying to find your stuff in the crowd. It also gives you the chance to see some great live music and comedy and you can still make it over to Colette at a reasonable time. We think this schedule will make for a much better experience all around.

Wed Night Dance: Roaring 20’s
We will be at the Brand New Lucky Pierre’s: a Walk through History. We will be making history with a historic party for those coming in early. You do not want to miss this kick off to our 16th Annual Naughty in N’awlins. To get a peek at New Orleans newest and biggest club on Bourbon St, go to http://luckypierresnola.com/

Sunday, July 14th

6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Post Convention Meet & Greet Dinner at La Bayou
208 Bourbon St.
Last year we had a great showing for our post-convention dinner. This year, we picked another local favorite of ours. Usually, the best restaurants are not on Bourbon St., but we really like La Bayou and go there often. They have a great space upstairs with a balcony that will be our home for the night. Bonus: It’s close to the hotel AND Colette. Call 504-525-4755 to make your individual reservations and ask for upstairs seating.

9:00 p.m. - till late Party at Colette
822 Gravier St.
Every year, we always finish up with a post-convention party at Colette (just two blocks from the hotel). We have almost 100 people staying over Sunday night, so this party should have a good turnout.

The parties on Sunday are not included in the convention, but we wanted you to know about it

* Denotes a Poker Run Party

Thank you for coming and we hope to see you again soon...
